One by one, every candidate for the Avengers Initiative is murdered off by a mysterious killer. This leads to Fury having to manage an impending threat and stop anyone else from being killed.
I do not believe any of us knew exactly how Marvel was going to go about "What If...". Following this first episode, I can safely say that I am in love with how they are going about these alternate timelines.
