Inhaler: In Concert

Inhaler took the stage at the Anaheim House of Blue’s on Novermber 2nd with an energy that was both youthful and refined, bringing their unique blend of alternative rock and indie-pop to a crowd that was more than ready to be swept off their feet. With a setlist packed with both fan favorites and deep cuts, the Dublin-based band delivered a high-octane performance that highlighted their evolution from promising newcomers to an unmistakable force in the music world.

The night kicked off with “These Are the Days,” a perfect opener that set the tone for the rest of the show. From the very first chords, the crowd was immersed, swaying and singing along to the uplifting anthem. The band rolled into “When It Breaks,” another fan favorite that had the crowd on their feet and dancing to its infectious rhythm.

Inhaler’s setlist was a balanced blend of heartfelt lyrics and rousing choruses, moving seamlessly from the anthemic, and newest single, “Your House” to the raw and introspective “Totally.” Their sound took on new dimensions in the live setting. One of the highlights of the night was “Who’s Your Money On?.” The track’s complex instrumentation and layered sound came alive in the venue, capturing the crowd’s full attention. Frontman Elijah Hewson’s stage presence was magnetic, drawing the audience in with each verse and effortlessly blending vulnerability with confidence.

In a slower, more introspective moment, the band performed “My King Will Be Kind.” The song’s melody resonated deeply, giving the audience a moment to catch their breath and connect on a more personal level. This reflective mood didn’t last long, though, as they quickly ramped up the energy again with “Dublin in Ecstasy,” paying homage to their roots with a hometown anthem that was met with ecstatic cheers. As a personal favorite of mine, I can say it lived up to how I imagined it would be preformed live.

“Cheer Up Baby” brought a lighthearted, anthemic feel to the room, while “It Won’t Always Be Like This” closed out the main set on a high note, giving fans the hopeful, cathartic moment they’d been waiting for. But the band wasn’t done yet.

As the crowd chanted for an encore, Inhaler returned to the stage with “Just to Keep You Satisfied,” a tender and reflective track that showcased the band’s emotional range. They then launched into “My Honest Face,” a fan favorite that had the entire venue singing along, creating a powerful and unifying end to the night.

Overall, Inhaler’s performance was nothing short of captivating. Their ability to balance introspective lyrics with infectious melodies and high-energy performances is what sets them apart in today’s music landscape. Last night, they didn’t just play a show—they created a shared experience, one that fans will carry with them long after the final note faded. With this level of charisma, talent, and connection with their audience, Inhaler has solidified their place as one of the most exciting acts in modern rock.
