Chloe Moriondo has released her new single, Dizzy with Thomas Headon and Alfie Templeman via Public Consumption Recording Co/Fueled By Ramen.
“Dizzy” is a song about having a smoke session so intense that it makes you dizzy. Alluding to the topic of smoking weed instead of saying it directly is what makes the song so special.
In the first verse of the song, Moriondo sings, “Got a 4:20 flight and I know I won’t be late.”
Thomas Headon continues to allude being high in the second verse of the song singing, “My eyes are burning red, spinning out inside my room. Never wanna leave my bed, do whatever I wanna do.”
The chorus reinforces the airy vibe of the song. “I’m gonna fly, fly on this feeling. Fifty-foot high, head through the ceiling. Oh, it’s got me dizzy like. Yeah it’s got me dizzy right now.”
Morindo’s delicate vocals along with Headon’s and Templeton’s harmonization throughout the song adds to the overall dreamy sound. The whistles in the background of the song also adds charm.
This song is perfect to listen to at a party with friends or alone. “Dizzy” is sure to give you a boost of serotonin with its uplifting floaty sound.
You can catch Chloe Moriondo on the remanding dates of their Blood Bunny tour. “Dizzy” is out now on all streaming platforms, check out the lyric video here.
