As a music photographer, I will occasionally attend a show that makes me truly grateful for the job I do and the life I live, and this was one of those shows. Aly & AJ put on one of the most beautiful shows I have ever seen. One of the things that have always stood out to me about Aly & AJ is their ability to welcome you into their world with their lyrics, and I just felt absolutely mesmerized by their live vocals singing these lyrics I have loved for over a year now. The “touch of the beat” album has been one of my favorites since it came out and to get the chance to capture the live version of this masterpiece is something I will forever hold dear.
