The weather in my head definitely wasn’t bad last night because I got to see Alexander 23 play the first show of his headline tour! On October 19, 2021, he took the stage of the Observatory OC to a crowd of screaming fans, many adorned in their dirty Air Force 1’s. A little over two years ago I witnessed Alexander 23 open up for mxmtoon at the exact same venue, but in the small Constellation Room off to the side. It was such a full circle moment, seeing him play the huge Observatory to a massive crowd. I spent a good majority of the night crying over this boy, but how could you not when he’s pouring his heart out during “High School”?!
