Robin Skinner, better known as Cavetown, fosters the most loving, supportive atmosphere I think I have ever been in. Throngs of young fans filled the Hollywood Palladium on April 8, 2021, adorned in crocheted hats with animal ears on them and pride flags – a true sign that this was a safe space for all. When Robbie and his band walked on stage, people were screaming, crying, and passing out (there was a record heat wave hitting Los Angeles this day). Despite the fanatic fans, Cavetown put on a relaxing set filled with his classic bedroom pop sound. I had an absolutely amazing time and would highly recommend seeing Cavetown in concert!
