So much has happened in this world since I last saw Fletcher grace the stage in 2019, but one thing remains the same: she will forever be one of my favorite live performers. I attended the first of two sold-out LA shows at the Fonda Theatre on March 2, 2022. With an ever impressive vocal range and the stage presence of the greats, Fletcher’s shows are always the best time.
There’s something so special about artists who are extremely in touch with their fanbases, and Fletcher is one of those. Mid-show she climbs into the crowd to perform her signature move, signing boobs, and connect with the people who spend their days screaming her lyrics. Throughout the night, I was dancing, screaming, and just letting go of reality for her hour and a half set. It was freeing. If you ever get the chance to see Fletcher live, you absolutely must.
