AMPERS&ONE, Live In Concert

On May 24th, 2026, AMPERS&ONE took the stage at The Rock Box in San Antonio, Texas on their Born To Define tour. AMPERS&ONE, a breakout K-Pop boy group under FNC Entertainment, has spent the past month traversing the United States on their second headlining US tour since their 2023 debut. San Antonio marked their third and final Texas show on this tour, drawing ANDEAR in from all over the state to see the boys perform hits from their newest album, Definition.

The show opened with the title track from the group’s latest comeback, “GOD.” The song features traditional Korean instrumentals as an underscore to a powerful anthem, the perfect song to set the tone for the Born To Define tour setlist. With hauntingly beautiful choreography, the audience can truly see how much work AMPERS&ONE put into “GOD,” and how it showcases each member’s talents. This transitioned perfectly into “What You Talking About,” an upbeat and strong B-side track from Definition. Main dancer Choi Jiho took the stage by storm performing a dance solo during the instrumental break, capturing the audience with his precise and energetic movements. The first section of the concert wrapped up with fan favorite “I’m Down,” causing an uproar from the crowd as they sang every lyric, jumped around, and danced along to the music.

AMPERS&ONE continued to perform title tracks and B-sides from their six mini albums, ranging from rock and hiphop inspired songs to hype up the crowd such as “Seesaw” and “Slide” to sentimental and vocal heavy songs such as “Over The Moon” and “My Mistake.”

During the middle of the show, the group split into three units to perform cover songs, showcasing each member’s strengths and personalities. Members Kamden and Jiho performed “Fever,” originally by ENHYPEN. This stage highlighted these members’ elegant and romantic dance abilities, as well as their smooth vocal tones used to portray a more sensual concept than AMPERS&ONE usually depicts. Members Brian and Kyrell performed “Love Story,” originally by Taylor Swift. This stage highlighted these members’ sweet vocals and cute personalities, showing a more reserved and boyfriend-like concept. Members Siyun, Mackiah, and Seungmo performed “Drag Me Down,” originally by One Direction. Mackiah wrote his own rap for the second verse, and this stage highlighted his rapping abilities as well as Siyun and Seungmo’s strong vocal abilities through many high notes and runs.

The show wrapped up with a segment for ANDEAR to sing along to fan song “All Eyes On You,” followed by the members’ performance of the song. The members expressed so much appreciation for the fans that came to the show, and continually told the audience that their energy was the reason they could perform such a high-energy setlist with hours of intense choreography and demanding vocals.

The encore to the show featured fan favorites such as “Crazy Stupid Fun” and their debut song “On and On.” At this moment, the entire concert practically turned into a night club. The audience danced and jumped and sang their hearts out, lightsticks waved everywhere in the air, and the members had so much fun on the stage interacting with their fanbase. Mackiah stated during the show that he wanted people to leave the concert feeling like it was just so much fun, and that is the exact atmosphere AMPERS&ONE created for this tour.

AMPERS&ONE put together a perfect setlist of songs that highlighted their range of abilities as a group, and truly gave back to the fans in a big way with this tour. The audience felt like a true community of fans, and that is completely due to the hard work of the members for creating a safe, fun, and welcoming tour. The Born To Define tour is truly a must see for everyone; whether you have been a fan since day one or have never heard of this group before, you will leave the concert with memories of a show that was, at its core, full of joy and fun.
